PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Introducing Simple & Powered Machines Activity Pack enables children to work together as young scientists, engineers and designers. The Activity Pack provides you and your students with settings, tools and tasks that promote design technology, science and mathematics.
By using the Activity Pack, children are encouraged to involve themselves in real world investigations and problem-solving. They make assumptions and predictions. They design and make models and then observe the behavior of these models; they reflect and re-design, and then record and present their findings.

The Introducing Simple & Powered Machines Activity Pack includes 48 lessons with 37 principle models, 14 main activities and 6 problem solving activities. These activities cover subjects such as: forces and motion, energy, measuring, and structures.

KEY LEARNING VALUES
Using the Simple & Powered Machines solutions, students design and make models and then observe the behavior of their models. They reflect and re-design the functionality of their models, and then record and present their findings. Students build the models together, each focusing on their part of the model – strengthening their 21st-century skills in collaboration and communication.
